Filipino/American born and raised in the Greater New Orleans area, Reny first experienced martial arts at a young age in Taekwondo and Tang Soo Do.  Then settling into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and FMA (Filipino martial arts) as he still trains today.

Reny began his FMA training 10+ years ago starting with Doce Pares and finally finding himself in love and dedicated to the Pekiti Tirsia Kali System.  Under the instruction of Tuhon Tim Waid, Reny earned his rank of Guro and conducts classes every Tuesday 7:00-8:30pm and Friday 7:00pm-9pm at Cyclone Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy.
